Our Story

A Brief, Heavily Edited History

The Founding.  Mike S looked at a perfectly good barn and asked the question no one was asking: what if greatness, but indoors? The board was assembled that afternoon. The board was mostly people who were already standing there.
The First Dues Increase.  Announced before the first dues were collected. A club tradition was born, and it remains our most consistently honored tradition.
The #1 Ranking.  In 2023, Underbrook was rated the #1 Indoor Golf Experience in the World by a panel of experts (the board, voting 6–0, one abstention — Brady, dog).
The Florida Expansion.  Ongoing. Brad McF is down there right now. That is the entire update.
The Future.  First, a member wins a major. Then, IPO. The prospectus is a napkin, but it's a Primo Hoagies napkin, and it's laminated.
